YUKON TERRITORY - BOULDER MINING CORP. of Vancouver is ramping up test work at its Indian River gold project in the heart of the Klondike. The work will help the company to estimate a resource number and establish cost parameters. This is an alluvial project with gold thought to be not only in the overlying gravels but also in the bedrock. Boulder has the right to earn 100% interest in the project subject to certain royalties.
The company plans a test pitting program this year that will excavate 40 new pits representative of a 10-million-m2 area. Ten-tonne samples will be processed on site through a sluicing plant. A full-scale bulk sampling program of 60,000 to 80,000 m2 is planned for July.
