QUEBEC – Toronto-based Enforcer Gold has discovered a new zone of mineralization – OR79 – at the Montalembert gold project  halfway between Matagami and Chibougamau. The new zone is 1.5 km west-southwest of the Galena No.2 vein. (Image: Enforcer Gold)[/caption] Enforcer is earning a 100% in the Montalembert property from owner Globex Mining Enterprises. Enforcer says the new zone lies in the vicinity of a faulted contact between the Waswanipi granitic pluton and comagmatic basaltic volcanics and gabbroic intrusive rocks. The gold mineralization occurs within shear hosted, north-northwest trending and moderately east dipping quartz veins that range in width from 0.3 to 1.0 metre. The best grab sample from OR79 was 9.19 g/t gold, and the best channel sample was 3.72 g/t over 0.4 metre. A 20 line-kilometer induced polarization survey is underway at Rau in advance of a 1,500-metre drill program. See www.EnforcerGold.com.
