QUEBEC – Eastmain Resources of Toronto continues to release excellent results from its 55,700-metre definition drill program at the Eau Claire deposit. The deposit is part of the company’s Clearwater project near James Bay. [caption id="attachment_1003718616" align="alignleft" width="393"] Examining core at the Clearwater project. Assays included 34.5 g/t gold over 1.5 metres, including 50.0 g/t over 0.5 metre; 48.8 g/t over 0.5 metre; and 21.8 g/t over 1.1 metre, including 37.4 g/t over 0.6 metre. Shallow underground holes (from 100 to 400 metres below surface) returned promising lengths of mineralization: 10.2 g/t gold over 8.5 metres, including 24.3 g/t over 2.0 metres; 5.36 g/t over 5.4 metres, including 13.3 g/t over 1.9  metre; and 6.10 g/t over 3.5 metres, including 10.8 g/t over 1.5 metre. Eastmain has been focusing on infill drilling to expand is understanding of the mineralizing controls at Eau Clair. The current program will also confirm the geological interpretation and limits of the mineralization. Spacing between drill holes is being reduced to reveal continuity between veins. Drilling continues below the known resources of the 450W and 850W zones, and it will also target the Eau Claire extension. Details and maps of the drill program are available at www.Eastmain.com.
