SASKATCHEWAN – Recent drilling by Claude Resources of Saskatoon at its Seabee gold project near La Ronge has intersected significant extensions of both the Santoy Gap and Santoy 8 deposits. Three step out holes targeting the down-plunge extensions were successfully drilled in Q1 2013.
The latest intersections have a notably higher grade than the current reserves and resources, said the company. The best grade, and highest to date, from Santoy Gap was 330.35 g/t Au over 1.55 metres including 602.00 g/t over 0.84 metres. The best assay from Santoy 8 was 18.80 g/t Au over 13.86 metres.
Claude expects production from the Santoy Gap to begin in the second half of 2014.
