QUEBEC – The winter drilling program at the Rouleau zone has intersected a new gold zone to the north, says owner Beaufield Resources of Montreal. The Rouleau zone is part of the company’s Urban project 190 km northeast of Val d’Or. [caption id="attachment_1003718015" align="alignleft" width="300"] The Rouleau block at Beaufield’s Urban gold project.[/caption] The Rouleau zone is 7 km southeast of Osisko Mining’s Windfall gold project where very high grades are frequently drilled. Beaufield’s 12-hole program tested mineralization along strike and at depth. Untested geophysical anomalies located just beyond the known mineralized corridor were also drilled. Assays from the Rouleau zone included 2.04 g/t gold over 6 metres including 9.24 g/t over 1 metre; 1.56 g/t over 20 metres including 4.84 g/t over 2 metres and including 8.14 g/t over 1 metre; and 2.43 g/t over 5 metres including 10.65 g/t over 1 metre.
