BRITISH COLUMBIA – Toronto-based
Barkerville Gold Mines is sharing new results from 24 recent holes at the Island Mountain deposit, part of its flagship Cariboo gold project in the central part of the province.
The Island Mountain mineralization has been expanded at depth thanks to exceptionally high grades such as 45.94 g/t gold over 5.2 metres, including 399 g/t over 0.50 metre in hole IM-19-043.
At the Shaft zone, the company reported 14.91 g/t gold over 4.40 metres, including 55.90 g/t over 0.80 metres.
According to Barkerville, the latest results demonstrate continuity of grade and width, expansion of mineralization at depth, and anomalous mineralization between the vein corridors.
