NOVA SCOTIA – Atlantic Gold Corp. of Vancouver has received assays from 21 holes of its definition drilling program at the Fifteen Mile Stream deposit near Halifax. The deposit has yet to be added to the life of mine plan for the Moose River Consolidated gold project that is currently under construction. [caption id="attachment_1003718233" align="alignleft" width="398"] Locations of Atlantic Gold’s properties in the Moose River Consolidated project.[/caption] Atlantic says strong and shallow mineralization is being drilled along the southern limb of the anticline. Some of the best results are 23 metres at 5.4 g/t gold from 51 metres below surface, 16 metres at 3.28 g/t from 18 metres deep, and 8 metres at 31.8 g/t from 28 metres deep, including 0.65 metres assaying 358 g/t gold. Fifteen Mile Stream is located about 47 km northeast of the central milling facility at Touquoy. Currently, Fifteen Mile contains 11.72 million inferred tonnes grading 1.55 g/t gold and containing 584,000 oz. A resource update is planned for the middle of this year.
