NOVA SCOTIA –
Atlantic Gold of Vancouver continues its phase three resource expansion program at Fifteen Mile Stream and Cochrane Hill. The program is producing good assays from both projects.
The Plenty zone at the Fifteen Mile Stream project, about 60 km from Atlantic’s Touquoy mill near Halifax, returned these assays: 4.11 g/t gold over 9.0 metres, including 28.5 g/t over 1.0 metre; 4.04 g/t gold over 11.0 metres, including 36.2 g/t over 1.0 metre; and 2.39 g/t gold over 12.0 metres.
Core from the Cochrane Hill project, about 80 km from Touquoy, produced these assays: 2.90 g/t gold over 31.0 metres, including 42.5 g/t over 1.0 metres; 2.87 g/t gold over 31 metres; 2.41 g/t gold over 11.0 metres, and 3.16 g/t over 6.0 metres, and 31.2 g/t over 1.0 metre; and 4.29 g/t gold over 6.0 metres.
