YUKON – ATAC Resources of Vancouver has the results from four recent diamond drill holes from the Conrad zone within the Osiris project at its Rackla Gold property 55 km northeast of Keno City. The Osiris project is wholly owned by ATAC but subject to a 70% option agreement with Barrick Gold. These are the highlights:
  • Hole OS-17-232 assayed 6.0 g/t gold over 12.2 metres including 8.6 g/t over 7.5 metres;
  • Hole OS-17-233 returned 5.5 g/t gold over 12.89 metres,3.35 g/t over 67.1 metres, and 7.3 g/t over 15.1 metres; and
  • Hole OS-17-234 assayed 3.5 g/t gold over 33.5 metres near surface in the hinge area of the Conrad Upper zone anticline.
The Rackla property contains the first discovery of Carlin style gold mineralization in Canada. The 2010 discovery hole returned 4.7 g/t gold over 65.2 metres, and this year’s exploration program has a budget of $10 million. More information is posted at www.ATACresources.com.
