GREENLAND – Vancouver’s
True North Gems has signed a three-year offtake agreement worth US$21 million with
Chinastone, a polisher and supplier of gems to jewelers, watchmakers, and the luxury trade.
The rough gemstones will come from True North’s open pit Aappaluttoq ruby and pink sapphire mine in the Fiskenaesset region. The project is owned 83% by True North and 17% by LNS Group, the operator.
