ILLINOIS – Caterpillar invites customers old and new to explore the new Cat® MD6250 rotary drill. It is built from the ground up with 100% Cat parts to help users get the most out of their operation. With built-in autonomous features and the option to integrate Cat MineStar technologies, the MD6250 offers accurate, reliable performance in any drilling application. It is configurable to fit users’ needs for vertical or angle drilling, down-the-hole or rotary drilling, and hole diameters from 150 to 250 mm. Each drill has integrated autonomous features. The MD6250 operates efficiently thanks to a number of performance features. It has variable air control to reduce engine load by 50%. Bits are changed above deck using the modular carousel for varying pipe diameters. It also meets or exceeds 30 ISO standards, is EU compliant and GOST certifiable. Operators enjoy a safe, comfortable cab with the ergonomic Cat joystick control system, HAVC with optional Hepa filter, and multiple cameras on the mast for 360° visibility from the seat.
