(Image: Tri Origin Exploration)[/caption] ONTARIO – Tri Origin Exploration of Aurora, Ont., has granted drilling rights on its Nipissing Cobalt and South Abitibi properties to De Beers Canada. The claims are both within a few kilometers of the town of Cobalt. De Beers’ focus remains on diamonds. It has identified targets for preliminary drilling of what might be kimberlitic mineralization. The drill program will be fully funded by De Beers with no obligation to Tri Origin. This is the first time in recent years  the hunt for diamonds has come to this area of the Cobalt-Temagami region. Tri Origin says its Nipissing Cobalt and South Abitibi properties lie in a geological environment known for its Abitibi-type gold, base metal and cobalt deposits. Its properties cover a large crustal corridor where diamondiferous kimberlite has been discovered. For more information, visit www.TriOrigin.com.
