QUEBEC – Stornoway Diamond Corp. of Vancouver is readying its Renard diamond project in the Otish Mountains for the start of production in 2015, and excitement is building around Quebec’s first diamond mine.

In the meantime, fans of the project can zoom in on Renard without leaving their chairs. They can enjoy a digital fly-through that represents the potential life of the Renard diamond project. It has been posted to give some insight as to how the current plan will unfold with a view towards the limited impact it will have on the environment.

Starting with its current state as an exploration camp, evolving to a view of the diamond mine in full production, and further on to a post-reclamation view of the area as it is regains its natural beauty, the video is an excellent overview of the long term business plan Stornoway has for the project.
