QUEBEC –
Yorbeau Resources of Montreal has confirmed the continuity of massive sulphides in the Gap lens at its Scott Lake copper-zinc exploration project 20 km west of Chibougamau. Hole SC-53W6 returned assays of 0.2% Cu, 13.5% Zn, 0.1 g/t Au and 17.7 g/t over 14.1 metres from 972.1 to 986.2 metres below surface.
Yorbeau noted that this is a preliminary result from this zone, and the exact shape and true width are not yet determined.
The Scott Lake property, 100% owned by Yorbeau, already hosts a number of polymetallic massive sulphide lenses. These represent combined inferred resources of 5.45 million tonnes grading 1.2% Cu, 4.6% Zn, 0.2 g/t Au and 34 g/t Ag. Drilling continues with a single rig.
