Power Ore continues to report drill results from the Opemiska copper complex near Chapais, and recently posted a webinar detailing its recent drill results and update on its program there.
The company has released results from three of the 23 holes to be drilled at Opemiska in 2019. The holes had gold, silver, cobalt and zinc mineralization as well as copper. Here are the highlights:
- Hole OPM-19-02: 1.41% copper equivalent (0.82% copper) over 58.1 metres, including 2.29% copper equivalent (1.96% copper), and 5.9% copper equivalent (2.29% copper) over 8.5 metres;
- Hole OPM-19-01: 0.72% copper equivalent (0.39% copper) over 23.6 metres, including 1.63% copper equivalent (0.79% copper) over 7.1 metres; and
- Hole OPM-19-03: 0.24% copper equivalent (0.15% copper) over 79.0 metres, including 0.52% copper equivalent (0.344% copper) over 25.7 metres.
The Opemiska complex was the home of two former producers – Springer and Perry – that were previously mined by Falconbridge.
