100%-owned Upper Beaver gold-copper property near Kirkland Lake. WATTS, GRIFFIS AND MCOUAT examined results of 134 holes in four zones to make a 43-101-compliant determination.
The total indicated resource is 1.37 million tonnes grading 8.5 g/t Au and 0.43% Cu (capped at 50 g/t Au and 2% Cu). There is also an inferred resource of 1.06 million tonnes grading 7.7 g/t Au and 0.39% Cu, similarly capped.
The Upper Beaver mine was developed to a depth of 365 metres and produced intermittently from 1919 to 1972. The majority of the mineralization identified by Queenston is found in a series of three breccia zones dipping steeply north below the old workings. The company is aware of an additional mineralized area, but more drilling is needed to accurately test it.
