BRITISH COLUMBIA — Seabridge Gold of Toronto has updated the resource numbers in its latest 43-101 report for the KSM (Kerr-Sulphurets-Mitchell) project, estimating a total of 38.9 million oz of gold and 10.0 billion lb of copper in measured and indicated resources. Those numbers are 13% and 17% respectively above those revealed in earlier estimates. The KSM project is located 20 km southeast of the former Eskay Creek gold mine.
Measured resources in all three zones total 659.7 million tonnes grading 0.64 g/t Au and 0.17% Cu. The indicated category includes 1.5 billion tonnes at 0.53 g/t Au and 0.23% Cu. The inferred portion totals 747.1 million tonnes at 0.43 g/t Au and 0.16% Cu.
Seabridge said it will now concentrate on its Courageous Lake gold project 240 km northeast of Yellowknife, NT.
