BRITISH COLUMBIA High-grade mineralization273.2 metres grading 0.27% Cu, 0.36 g/t Au and 1.32 ppm Aghave been reported in hole SD04-11 in the Springer zone at the Mount Polley mine. The sole owner, IMPERIAL METALS of Vancouver, suspended operation in 2001 due to low metals prices.
A total of 11 holes have been completed in the Springer zone, and the complete drillhole table and plan are posted at www.ImperialMetals.com.
The Mount Polley property includes the partially-mined Bell deposit. Last year Imperial drilled a new copper-gold discovery in the Northeast zone. If there are continuing positive results from the Springer zone, Imperial may someday reopen the mine.
