(Image: Copper Mountain Mining)[/caption] BRITISH COLUMBIA – Copper Mountain Mining of Vancouver met its 2018 full-year guidance with the production of 78.9 million lb. of copper from its Copper Mountain project 20 km south of Princeton. The mill treated 40,000 t/d with an average head grade of 0.31% copper. Copper equivalent production was 92.4 million lb., which includes 28,250 oz. of gold and 273,910 oz. of silver. Copper Mountain gave the following guidance numbers for the next three years:
  • 2019 – 72 million to 80 million lb. of copper (86 million to 95 million lb. of copper equivalent);
  • 2020 – 86 million to 95 million lb. of copper (103 million to 113 million lb. of copper equivalent); and
  • 2021 – 81 million to 89 million lb. of copper (95 million to 105 million lb. of copper equivalent).
These numbers do not include any production from the New Ingerbelle pit. The preliminary economic assessment for a new pit indicates that 768 million lb. of copper and 550,000 oz. of gold would be recovered over its life. A technical report for an integrated mining plan for both Copper Mountain and New Ingerbelle is due during the first quarter of this year. More information about Copper Mountain’s projects in Australia as well as Canada, can be found at www.CuMtn.com.
