YUKON – Go Metals Corp. of Vancouver is pleased with the latest results from its Monster iron ore-copper-gold property in the Dawson district. Ninety grab samples have been analyzed, and the best copper sample was 22.3%. [caption id="attachment_1003730471" align="alignleft" width="206"] Copper concentration is closely correlated to silver, and cobalt grades to gold in samples from the Monster property in Yukon. (Image: Go Gold Corp.)[/caption] Not every sample ran so high. Copper grades averaged 1.1% (which is still very good) and ranged up to the aforementioned 22.3% copper. Cobalt grades averaged 0.08% and the highest assay was 1.5%. Silver grades averaged 3 g/t and ran as high as 52 g/t. The gold grade averaged 0.03 g/t with the highest only 0.5 g/t gold. The 90 samples were collected around the Arena, Bloom and Beast targets. Mineralization is associated with increased hematite and chlorite alteration. Go Metals also discovered at least 10 new surface showings this summer. More details from the 2019 grab sampling are available at www.GoMetals.ca.
