CONSULTING ENGINEERS: SNC-Lavalin acquires Laboratoire Sol et Bton

MONTREAL GROUPE QUALITAS, a subsidiary of SNC-LAVALIN, has acquired LABORATOIRE SOL ET BTON, a firm specialized in material and geotechnical engineering based in Quebec City since 1973.

With some 50 employees, Laboratoire Sol et Bton has joined the ranks of SNC-Lavalin's Materials and Geotechnical Engineering Division, which now employs over 600 people in Quebec. The acquisition enables SNC-Lavalin, already a major player in engineering in the Quebec City region, to expand the range of services it provides to its clients.
