ONTARIO - Drill results from the Werner West zone have Vancouver-based Puget Ventures hoping it can develop a primary cobalt producer near Kenora. Results include 1.21% Co over 12.30 metres including a high-grade interval of 12.48% Co over 0.90 metres. The drill core also returned anomalous copper, nickel and gold values.
The Werner West deposit was mined in 1929, 1932 and 1940-44. The property had historical resources and reserves of 1.1 million tonnes grading 0.31% Co and 0.29% Cu. Over the next two years, Puget hopes to confirm the historic resources and prepare a 43-101-compliant report.
