TUMBLER RIDGE, British Columbia It has filed the revised project description for the Wolverine coal mine developed with the provincial government, says WESTERN CANADIAN COAL of Vancouver. The most recent filing includes changes as required to meet environmental and mine permitting guidelines. The revised plan is based on mining 17 million run-of-mine tonnes annually for a 1.6-million-tonne clean coal output beginning in the third quarter of 2005. An estimated US$48 million will be needed to get the project up and running with contract mining. Wolverine has a resource of 60 million tonnes of metallurgical coal.

Western Canadian is a publicly-traded company determined to develop "British Columbia's next generation of coal mines". Learn more at www.westerncoal.com.
