ALBERTA – Altitude Resources of Calgary has released a NI 43-101 resource estimate for the Palisades coking coal project west of Hinton. The estimate is based on 27 rotary and three cored holes totaling 4,583 metres drilled last fall.
Altitude gave a 10.05 million tonnes measured and indicated figure and 4.87 million tonnes of inferred material. The company has an exploration target of 33 million tonnes on the property. The coal ranks as low volatile bituminous coking (Ro 1.45 to 1.53) coal.
