AWARD: Cementation wins Safest Employer Award

NORTH BAY: Cementation Canada Inc. has been recognized as one of Canada’s Safest Employers for 2016. The gold award was recently presented to Cementation at the Canadian Occupational Safety Awards Gala, hosted by Canadian Occupational Safety and Thompson Reuter in Toronto. The Canada’s Safest Employer Awards were launched in 2011 and acknowledge companies from across Canada with outstanding accomplishments in promoting the health and safety of their employees. Companies are evaluated on a broad range of initiatives including employee training, OHS management systems, incident investigation, emergency preparedness and innovative health and safety initiatives. Cementation received Canada’s Safest Employers Gold award for the Mining and Natural Resources category. The award covers 10 industry-specific categories, ranging from hospitality to mining and natural resources.
