Bearing seals

Garlock’s shaft grounding bearing isolator is a new seal designed to protect bearings from electrical damage as well as from lubricant loss and contamination. The seals combine a non-sparking bronze labyrinth seal and the shaft grounding ring is a single unit. It is suited for motors controlled by variable frequency drive running pumps, fans, high-speed spindles, and other equipment in severe duty applications such as mining and water/wastewater treatment. Included in the design is a non-contact isolation seal that withstands dust and powerful jetting liquids.
