NeoLithica reports 10 million inferred tonnes of LCE mineral resource at Peace River 

According to NeoLithica’s National Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101) technical report for its Peace River project in AB, inferred mineral resources are estimated at 10 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) at an average grade of 70.0 mg/L.  

NeoLithica believes the Leduc Reservoir in AB has the potential to be a significant source of lithium. Given the size of the inferred resource and its anticipated high production rates, the company says it believes that its Peace River project has the potential to deliver enough brine to produce up to 125,000 tonnes per year of battery-grade lithium carbonate for years to come. 

NeoLithica plans to continue to advance the Peace River project through additional near-term development, including drilling evaluation wells and conducting additional detailed reservoir hydrogeology with the goal of upgrading the inferred mineral resource to higher categories. 

Peace River is approximately 500 km northwest of Edmonton. NeoLithica owns a 100% undivided interest in over 600,00 hectares of Alberta crown metallic and industrial mineral permits in northern Alberta, of which, over 490,000 hectares lie within its Peace River lithium project area. Peace River lithium project consists of a series of 62 contiguous metallic and industrial minerals permits issued by Alberta Energy, a ministry of the Alberta government.
