(Image: Laurion Mineral Exploration)[/caption] ONTARIO – Laurion Mineral Exploration of Toronto has released the first assays from the CRK sulphide veins at Ishkoday. The project is wholly owned and located 220 km northeast of Thunder Bay. The company stripped selected outcrops and performed channel sampling over a 450-metre trend at the CRK zone. Workers identified multi-centimetre to metre-wide zinc and copper sulphide veins. One notable channel sample assayed 0.29% copper, 4.27% zinc, 4.34 g/t gold and 27.02 g/t silver over 1.8 metre. Surface channel samples of the A-2 quartz vein taken near drill hole LME-14-031 retuned 2.28 g/t gold over 0.3 metre, 1.21 g/t over 0.2 metre, and 1.77 g/t over 1.0 metre. The drill hole yielded 0.20 g/t gold over 1.2 metre. More information is available at www.Laurion.ca.
