The deposit sits within the Thompson nickel belt. The highest grade was recorded from a 1.0-metre interval that graded 12.06% nickel. Here are the key intercepts:

CanAlaska purchased the former Manibridge mine in March this year. The vendor, Pure Nickel, received $25,000 in cash and 300,000 CanAlaska shares and 100,000 two-year warrants. Pure Nickel purchased the property from Glencore Canada, which retains a back-in right and 2% net smelter royalty should a deposit of 15 million tonnes or more be outlined. More information about Manibridge will be posted at www.CanAlaska.com when it becomes available.
