(Image: Granada Gold Mine)[/caption] QUEBEC – Granada Gold Mine of Rouyn-Noranda, Que., has received the final results of the fall 2018 drill program at its Granada gold project in the Cadillac Trend. Work identified new gold intersections at depths below the recent pit-constrained resources as well as at a previously untested area northwest of the potential pit. These are the highlights of the recent drill program:
  • Hole GR-18-03: 8.39 g/t gold over 6.0 metres, including 12.41 g/t over 4.0 metres, including 45.7 g/t over 1.0 metre;
  • Hole GR-18-04: 5.45 g/t gold over 4.0 metres, including 13.7 g/t over 1.5 metre, including 37.3 g/t over 0.5 metre;
  • Hole GR-18-01: 8.15 g/t gold over 3.0 metres, including 23.3 g/t over 1.0 metre.
At the end of last  year, Granada updated the resources on the Long-Bars zone and produced a pit-constrained estimate. It included 12.8 million measured tonnes grading 1.13 g/t gold and containing 464,000 oz. of gold. The indicated resource is 9.6 million tonnes grading 1.13 g/t and containing 349,000 oz. The inferred portion is 6.9 million tonnes at 2.04 g/t gold and containing 455,000 oz. Granada intends to become a producer of 100,000 oz. of gold annually. Learn more at www.GranadaGoldMine.com.
