Westhaven Ventures is testing the Shovelnose gold property 30 km south of Merritt.
For high grade results, consider hole SN18-14 that returned 17.8 metres of 24.50 g/t gold and 107.92 g/t silver, including an intersection of 6.8 metres that assayed 50.67 g/t gold and 204.54 g/t silver.
For sheer thickness, consider hole SN18-12 that returned 175.0 metres of 0.65 g/t gold and 2.08 g/t silver including 4.0 metres of 11.82 g/t gold and 10.92 g/t silver.
Westhaven said that assays are pending on hole SN18-15 that encountered a 20-metre-long quartz vein.
Shovelnose is a low sulphidation epithermal gold occurrence. The company is planning a follow-up drill program to begin this November.
