BRITISH COLUMBIA – Vancouver’s
Skeena Resources has released its maiden resources estimated for the Eskay Creek property near Stewart. The estimate was derived from over 7,500 historical surface and underground diamond drill holes. It does not include any results from the ongoing phase one metallurgical and infill drilling programs.
Skeena says there are 1.1 million indicated tonnes grading 4.9 g/t gold and 72 g/t silver. Expressed as contained metals, there are 173,000 oz. of gold and 2.5 million oz. of silver. The inferred resource is 4.3 million tonnes at 3.3 g/t gold and 72 g/t silver, containing 458,000 oz. of gold and 9.8 million oz. of silver.
Former owner
Barrick Gold optioned the former Eskay Creek gold mine and property to Skeena last year, and Skeena is acquiring 100% ownership. The mine produced about 3.3 million oz. of gold a
nd 160 million oz. of silver from average grades of 45 g/t gold and 2,224 g/t silver.
More details about the project are posted at

Just a heads up… you have only reported on the conceptualized open pit resource which makes up only a quarter of the total indicated resource. most of the resources is the underground component.
Underground Resources
The underground Indicated resource estimate includes 814,000 gold equivalent ounces within 2.51 million tonnes at an average gold equivalent grade of 10.1 g/t. The underground Inferred resource estimate includes 261,000 ounces within 0.81 million tonnes at an average gold equivalent grade of 10.0 g/t.
