(Image: Filo Mining)[/caption] ARGENTINA – Vancouver’s Filo Mining Corp. says the recent successful exploration drill program at its Filo del Sol copper-gold-silver project has allowed it to boost the resource numbers. The company saw a significant increase in the indicated tonnage and contained metals. Indicated tonnes rose by 14% to 425.1 million tonnes. Total indicated gold in all zones went up by 12% to 4.4 million oz. Total indicated contained copper increased by 12% to 3.1 billion lb. Total indicated silver increased by 34% to 147 million oz. The indicated grades are 0.33% copper, 0.32 g/t gold, and 10.7 g/t silver. The inferred resource totals 175.1 million tonnes grading 0.27% copper, 0.33 g/t gold, and 6.2 g/t silver. Contained metals are estimated to be 1.1 billion lb. of copper, 1.8 million oz. of gold, and 37.8 million oz. of silver. Filo says the resources are divided into four zones. The gold oxide, copper-gold and silver zones are amenable to heap leaching. The copper-gold sulphide zone underlies the other three. The resource is open in several directions and at depth. Only 3 km of the 7-km long strike lengths has been drill tested. All holes drilled so far, including those to 500 metres below surface, ended in mineralization, so the company is thinking there might be copper-gold porphyry mineralization at depth. Additional details are available in the Aug. 8, 2018, posted at www.Filo-Mining.com.
