MINING PEOPLE: AngloGold, Copper Mountain, and Suncor

He is currently president of Toronto-based Barrick Gold. Vancouver-based Copper Mountain Mining Corp. has made two appointments recently. Lance Newman is now VP project development. Letitia Wong is VP corporate development and investor relations. Suncor Energy of Calgary has asked Brian MacDonald to join its board of directors. He is the holder of an MBA from McGill University and the president and CEO of CDK Global.
