(Image: Atac Resources)[/caption] YUKON – Atac Resources of Vancouver has revealed the latest exploration results from its Rau project at the western end of its Rackla gold property. Rackla, located 55 km northeast of Keno City, hosts Canada’s only known Carlin-style gold deposit. This year’s prospecting program was designed to prioritize the many known gold and base metal targets along trend from the Tiger deposit. Work also evaluated untested soil anomalies and promoted understanding of the broad controls on mineralization in the district. High gold values in grab samples from existing targets along strike from the Tiger deposit confirmed the potential for carbonate replacement style gold mineralization. Good grades of zinc, lead and silver have been identified elsewhere on the Rau project, said Atac. The 2017 exploration program also identified two new targets – Spotlight and Northwest. Grab samples returned good grades of gold, as well as zinc, copper and 7,080 g/t silver. Work will continue at these targets in 2018. Detailed information about the Rackla property is posted at www.AtacResources.com.
