(Image: Trevali Resources)[/caption] NEW BRUNSWICK – Vancouver-based Trevali Mining Corp. has drilled a major zone of massive sulphide mineralization at its Caribou zinc mine in the Bathurst Mining Camp. The new zone is about 350 metres from the currently defined deposit and is open for expansion. This year’s exploration program followed up on results from the North Limb extension in 2015. Recent drilling defined two lenses which vary in thickness from 5 metres to more than 30 metres. As currently modeled they have a strike length of about 450 metres and a dip length of about 700 metres. Key highlights from the recent program include:
  • Hole BR-1025 cut 35.39 metres at 4.28% zinc, 1.41% lead, 0.38% copper, 53.06 g/t silver, and 1.28 g/t gold, within which are higher grade intercepts.
  • Hole BR-1033 intersected 11.98 metres at 6.05% zinc, 2.23% lead, 0.37% copper, 80.91 g/t silver, and 2.12 g/t gold and 3.23 metres at 7.00% zinc, 2.07% lead, 0.65% copper, 65.36 g/t silver, and 0.41 g/t gold.
  • Hole BR-1036 returned 4.60 metres at 5.81% zinc, 2.28% lead, 0.46% copper, 77.60 g/t silver, and 2.21 g/t gold.
The new massive sulphide mineralization is close to existing development at the Caribou mine. Learn more at www.Trevali.com.
