TORONTO – Almost everything is ready for the
Canadian Aboriginal Minerals Association to celebrate its silver (25
th) anniversary on Nov. 12-14, 2017. Founded in 1991, CAMA works hard to meet the challenges of balanced mineral development, community benefits from mining, a vibrant community, and a safe, healthy environment.
The theme for this year’s conference is “Water for Life, Mining for Need, Achieving Balance.” Delegates will hear directly from community elders, youth, women and men, and leaders on issues related to resource development. Leaders from industry, communities and government will speak on how to move forward creating benefits and certainty for all. Judicial and legal representatives who know the trends in law with respect to consultation, consent, title and agreements will also be there.
CAMA’s 25
th anniversary conference will be held at the Marriott Toronto Eaton Centre, Nov. 12-14. Make plans to attend the trade show, too.
