YUKON – Toronto’s
White Gold Corp. has discovered a new gold zone at the Rebecca target on JP Ross property south of Dawson City. Drilling returned 21.89 g/t gold over 3.05 metres, including 35.80 g/t over 1.52 metres.

The Rebecca zone occurs within an east-southeast trending, steeply south dipping fault zone associated with brecciated quartz veins and quartz-sericite alteration. Visible gold and silver occurs within the quartz veins, and historic grab samples have assayed as high as 541 g/t gold and 101 g/t silver. White Gold is also drilling at the Loonie and Dime properties.
The company is has begun drilling at the Golden Saddle and Arc deposits at the White Gold property that it acquired from Kinross June 2016. An updated resource estimate, including results of work at White Gold, is promised for Q1 2018.
