SASKATCHEWAN – SSR Mining of Vancouver continues to drill underground at the Seabee and Santoy gold mines 125 km northeast of La Ronge. The focus is to convert resources to categories of higher confidence. (Credit: SSR Mining)[/caption] Infill drilling at Santoy has identified as many as three parallel mineralized planes – 8A, 8A Footwall and 8B. Core has assayed 7.17 g/t gold over 7.0 metres true width and 7.43 g/t over 6.3 metres. The nearby Carr target, a potentially new zone of mineralization, has returned 31.64 g/t gold over 1.1 metre true width. SSR also had positive results from the Santoy Gap hanging wall. One core tested 26.55 g/t gold over 2.8 metres true width. Elsewhere in the Santoy Gap, drilling intersected 27.70 g/t over 2.5 metres true width. SSR also has a field program at the Fisher showings and the southern extension of the Santoy shear zone. Soil and till sampling, mapping and prospecting was done over a 12 by 2-km area. Quartz veining and alteration of meta-volcanic rocks consistent with the assemblage found at Santoy Gap were identified. Drilling is planned later this year when the forest fire season is over. More about the Seabee and Santoy projects is posted at www.SSRmining.com.
