(Credit: Golden Predator Mining)[/caption] YUKON – Golden Predator Mining of Vancouver is actively drilling its 3 Aces property in the southeast part of the territory, and the assays are promising – as high as 50.40 g/t gold over 8.00 metres. The current drill program is focused on the Spades zone, a high grade area of multiple veins. Significant results from reverse circulation and diamond drilling (for grade verification) include:
  • Hole 3A17-124: 57 metres of 58.75 g/t gold, including 1.52 metres of 121.75 g/t;
  • Hole 132: 30 metres of 6.69 g/t gold, including 1.95 metres of 25.64 g/t;
  • Hole 134: 60 metres of 18.77 g/t gold, including 1.50 metres of 36.60 g/t;
  • Hole 138: 50 metres of 8.31 g/t goldand 8.00 metres of 50.40 g/t, including 1.00 metre of 156.00 g/t;
  • Hole 131: 75 metres of 65.31 g/t goldand 4.55 metres of 46.90 g/t, including 0.95 metres of 209.00 g/t (for grade verification); and
  • Hole 133: 00 metres of 15.98 g/t gold, including 1.50 metre of 49.93 g/t,and 16.2 metres of 20.50 g/t, including 5.10 metres of 57.77 g/t (for grade verification).
Golden Predator says its geologists have greatly increased their understanding of the structural and stratigraphic controls of the gold mineralization within the 11-km2 Central Core area. The controls and style of mineralization continue along a northwesterly trend measuring 35 km within the 3 Aces land package. CMJ featured the project in its January 2017 issue.
