YUKON – Toronto’s
Victoria Gold Corp. has chosen a fleet of Caterpillar equipment for its developing Eagle gold mine375 km north of Whitehorse. The project has entered the basic and detailed engineering phase for a mine that will average 190,000 oz. of gold annually during its 10 years of operation.

Finning (Canada) will supply two 6040FS hydraulic shovels, 11 135-tonne, 785D haul trucks, and various auxiliary equipment. The total cost of the new fleet is approximately US$50 million. Delivery of the equipment is expected between late 2017 and Q3 2018.
