MALI –
Robex Resources of Quebec City says that commercial production was declared on Jan. 1 , 2017, at its Nampala gold mine in this African country. Over the past 60 days, the processing plant averaged 90% of design throughput. Mill capacity is 4,000 t/d.
The company built the pit, bought the mining fleet, and assembled the processing plant at Nampala for $70 million. Proven and probable reserves total 17.35 million tonnes of oxide ore grading 0.70 g/t Au. The ore is crushed, ground and passed though carbon-in-leach to recover the gold. The tailings will be detoxified before release into the management area.
