As founder Phil Walshe retires,
Wenco International in Richmond, BC, has named Andrew Pyne president and CEO. He brings more than 20 years of industry leadership to the post, most recently as VP mining at Dassault Systemes Geovia. Originally from Australia, Pyne has opened new companies in Russia, India, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan. He has also arranged reseller agreements in many secondary markets.
The new CEO at Ottawa’s
Melkior Resources is Jim Deluce, holder of an industrial engineering degree from the University of Toronto. He replaces Sabino Di Paola who will assume his previous role as CFO.
QMX Gold Corp. of Toronto has named Brad Humphrey as president, CEO and director. Previously, he worked as executive director and North American precious metals analyst at Morgan Stanley.
