URANIUM: NexGen drills long and very strong at the Arrow A2 shear at Rook I

SASKATCHEWAN – Vancouver-based NexGen Energy has excellent results from four angled holes at the Rook I project in the Athabasca Basin. The holes were drilled in the A2 shear at the Arrow deposit. Drill hole AR-16-76c3 had perhaps the best results. It cut 74.0 metres at 10.25% U₃O₈ in the higher grade A2 sub-zone. This intersection also includes 50.0 metres at 15.05%, 11.5 metres at 49.53%, and 0.5 metres at 80.00%. Drill hole AR-16-78c1 intersected 37.5 metres at 12.94% U₃O₈. NexGen says the sub-zone is defined by extensive intersections of dense accumulations of massive to semi-massive pitchblende. The zone has been outlined using 22 holes, and the last four assays from them are pending. The spring program at Rook I includes three rigs drilling 7,500 metres.
