QUEBEC – Sirios Resources of Montreal has received partial assays from hole 40 at the Cheechoo property, and it confirms that the hole intersected a biotite schist over 36 metres with a gold grade of 1.27 g/t over 39 metres between 295 and 334 metres below surface. Nine other holes were drilled in an area from 500 metres to 1,500 metres northwest of the known gold halo at Cheechoo. Sirios said visible gold was seen in three holes at or near the geological contact between tonalite and meta-sedimentary rocks. In two of the holes, new mineralogical assemblages marked by alteration with diopside, garnet, brown tourmaline, chlorite and black quartz-tourmaline veinlets. The Cheechoo project is located in Eeyou Istchee James Bay. Details are available at www.Sirios.com.
