GOLD: Falco cuts 4 g/t equivalent over 55.5 metres at Horne 5

QUEBEC – Falco Resources of Montreal has new results from the Horne 5 gold project in the Rouyn-Noranda camp. Two new holes in the Quemont intercept returned these assays:

• H5-15-07 – 11.4 g/t AuEq over 13.2 metres (4.5 g/t Au, 27.1 g/t Au, 0.3% Cu and 11.9% Zn).
• H515-08 – 4.00 g/t AuEq over 55.5 metres (2.7 g/t Au, 13.0 g/t Ag, 0.1% Cu and 1.9% Zn) including 9.9 g/t AuEq over 15.9 metres and within that intersection a further 15.9 g/t AuEq over 5.9 metres.

Falco’s Horn project area includes the former Horne and Quemont mines and the Horne 5 deposit. The Horne 5 deposit sits below the former Horne mine, and it is the Quemont extension of this deposit that is the current focus of drilling. The maiden 43-101 resource estimate for Horne 5 contained 25.3 million tonnes at 2.64 g/t Au, 0.23% Cu and 0.7% Zn. That is 2.2 million oz of gold or 2.8 million oz of gold equivalent. It produced more than 54 million tonnes of ore averaging 6.1 g/t Au, 13 g/t Ag and 2.22% Cu. The Quemont mine, 600 metres north of Horne, produced about 2 million oz of gold and 400 million lb of copper between 1949 and 1971. Additional information is available at FalcoRes.com.
