SAFETY: Power panel converts distribution

Larson Electronics has just introduced a 15 KVA power distribution panel system that converts three-phase 480 volts AC to single-phase 120 volts AC.

The system provides a safe and effective way for operators in industrial settings (including mines) to tap into and utilize power sources independently of the work area.

The unit is designed to operate with 480 VAC which then steps down to 120 VAC single phase and 208Y three phase. The transformer makes 120 volts available via eight GFCI protected receptacles and 208Y available via two 208Y outlets. a welding station, shows and exhibits and marine applications.

Units are designed for use in hazardous locations where external power sources are often necessary and work well in combination with explosion proof lights.
