Animal Planet is back with its show Ice Cold Gold, spotlighting a spirited team of miners who are among the first Americans to prospect for precious metals and gems in parts of Greenland where humans never have set foot before!
The series follows men who leave behind their families, friends and homeland to strike it rich against all odds while struggling to survive against the harshest of conditions.

KEN
If the crew obtains a water powered electric-generator that would be able to charge video camera batteries, heat their shelter and power to run their equipment near the base camp. Gasoline would not be needed. They maybe able to install a water-fall generator at the red-zone also. There seemed to be a lot of water in Greenland (as seen on TV), of course Greenland only has 10% of the worlds fresh water. They initially could not get across a river, but John Self did, to delivery deer meat to the Red-Zone crew.
