ONTARIO – The latest drill hole results from Rainy River Resources at the Intrepid zone trace the mineralization along a 410-metre strike length and down dip for 450 metres. The zone is open at depth.
Here are some of the best assays: 3.2 g/t Au and 16.0 g/t Ag over 25.5 metres including 14.8 g/t Au and 51.5 g/t Ag over 3.0 metres; 2.6 g/t Au and 35.0 g/t Ag over 28.5 metres including 4.7 g/t and 56.5 g/t Ag over 13.5 metres; 8.0 g/t Au and 28.3 g/t Ag over 6.9 metres including 15.2 g/t Au and 36.3 g/t Ag over 3.0 metres; and 11.4 g/t Au and 63.7 g/t Ag over 7.4 metres.
Rainy River says the latest assays are consistent with previous results. Drilling continues along a high grade corridor that may eventually become an underground mine. The company also plans to drill test the depth of the mineralization later this year as it prepares a resource estimate for the Intrepid zone in Q3 2013.
