QUEBEC – Results of the winter drilling program at the Magusi River copper-zinc-silver-gold deposits 30 km northwest of Rouyn-Noranda are positive, reports Mag Copper of Toronto. Highlights include:
Mag focused its drilling campaign on expanding the current resources, establish continuity between the Main and East zones, and to test other targets on the property. The most recent 43-101 report included only assays from the Main zone. The total indicated resource is 1.4 million tonnes grading 1.85% Cu, 4.31% Zn, 41.8 g/t Ag and 1.25 g/t Au, divided between high grade copper and high grade zinc mineralization. The inferred resource is 350,000 tonnes at 3.41% Cu, 0.39% Zn, 0.26 g/t Au and 24.2 g/t Ag, consisting of high grade copper mineralization.
